Dearest McKayla, Happy Birthday! You are a blessed child to have been born into such a wonderful family. They all miss you terribly and I pray you will send down a special blessing to your mom, dad and your sister. I am grateful that I am getting to know you through your precious mother, Moe. You are a beauty, inside and out. Thank you for your light. (((Hugs))) Janis, mom of Bethany 7/26/82-2/22/06 www.bethanyjones.net

McKayla, Though you were taken too early from your family and this world, I feel your sweet presence each time your mother sends us a message on memorials, school activities planned on your behalf, trees planted and tributes. All of these are genuine and mean so much to your family. You are missed. Phil & Bev Miller

Sweet angel McKayla, I hope you have met Emile already. Blessed Be, Rea mom of Emile

Happy Birthday my beautiful Niece. I know that you are in the best place that you can be - but I am still missing you so much! I love you baby. Aunty Rose

Today, on your 14th birthday, I will think of your beautiful smile. When you smiled, the happiness radiated from your entire face and dared others to try and resist the urge to smile back at you. Most of us could not resist. I smiled back because your smile’s warmth was so contagious. But I also smiled back because there was so much more to your smile than just the outer splendor. Your smile expressed the kindness and compassion that resided within you and reflected a wisdom that exceeded that which should belong to a person so young. Your smile would make me feel that you saw all, the obvious and the hidden truths about someone, and that you accepted both. In one single smile you could make me believe that there was a great deal of good in the world. And despite the abundance of evidence to the contrary, your smile would make me feel that everything would be alright. What a powerful smile. Today, when sorrow comes to sit by my side, I will gather strength from remembering your smile. I will think of you and I standing in my kitchen on Sunday morning with your sister and AnLi, and I will remember what it felt like to be in the presence of joy. I will also think of your strong, remarkable family who gave you such good reason to smile. Thank you for sharing your gift with me. Happy Birthday sweet child. I miss you so. Mrs. K-D

Happy Birthday, I miss You lots, and I'll be remembering what we were doing this time of year, last year. Luv you lots.

I do want you to know how much our family loves McKayla. I was looking around today at her Mass and saw all the people that came for her. She touched every single life of every person she new. She made all our lives better in some way. I think about her beautiful smile and the laugh that I loved so much. Our family will never forget her. She came into our lives so many years ago and changed them forever. Some of the happiest memories that my kids will ever have in their lives are with both McKayla and Amanda. We love you McKayla and feel so blessed to have been able to spend so much of our lives with you. Love Eric, Candee, Kaelee, Miclyn, Rylee,Brenna, Aidyn,Jaren and Dallen.

We know that you are celebrating your birthday with the angels in Heaven! Please shine down your love and brightness on your family and friends as they miss your presence on this special day. The oil lamp at church is burning this week in special memory of you and your birthday. May God continue to give your family strength. With all our love and prayers, Erin and Patti
