I had the privlege and joy of teaching McKayla piano for nearly two years. She was a dedicated student who played beautifully. I miss seeing her and teaching her each week.

Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. May the words of our Lord bring you all comfort. I did not know McKayla, but she truly seemed like a gem. God Bless you all.

John 11:25-26- "I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die." This is our true hope for our dear McKayla!

04-18-2007 10:14 PM -- By: Sarah Christensen,  From: Ashburnham, MA

McKayla was a very dear cousin. We have a somewhat small family and because we live fairly near to each other, we were pretty close, even though there is a significant age difference between us. I know I speak for the family- we miss her very much, but because of her faith in Christ, she is in a far better place and I would never wish her back. I know I'll see her again, and that is my comfort. McKayla is not dead, she has just moved to live in God's presence! It's a joyous thing, it's just painful for those of us left here. Thank you,Kim, for starting this site. And for any of the rest of the family that is reading this...you are still in my prayers and I love you all very much. I'm so thankful for a family like you! Love,Sarah

Our family still grieves desperately for our beautiful, talented, smart, wonderful McKayla. Our lives have forever been changed ... and our lives on "Shear Bliss Farm" will never be the same. We literally had 'heaven on earth' for 13 years. McKayla made her family so proud and she was very loved .. and still is.

We ask each and everyone that visits this site that you keep us close in your prayers ... as we try and deal with the tragedy in our lives. We just miss her ... and we long to have her in our arms, even our sight once again. We ache for her … I ache for her.

Thank you, everyone, for the prayers, love, support ... for without each and everyone of you and without our Lord, we do not know what shape we would be in ....

Our love and prayers,

The Geisinger's!

McKayla had a beautiful smile, was quiet and compassionate, and quite the defender on the soccer field. My daughter and her teammates will miss her quiet strength, her compassion and her smile - both on and off the field! As a parent, my heart goes out to this angel's parents and her sister. May God continue to give them strength and when they are not feeling strong to lean on their friends and family. God Bless!

this is sumthing i wrote in a blog thing the day of the funeral---im sorry to say we weren't friends-i hardly knew her, but i am one of the lucky ones that did know her to some extent. When i first came into art class on the first day of school, i looked around-not one friend in that class. there was an open seat, next to McKayla, i sat there cause she seemed nice enough. i sat there almost everyday. in shop we were in the same group to build the aderondack chair-we were the only girls in our group so we pretty much stayed together, we did the routering and sanding. when we had nothing else to do we hung around and talked. i know we weren't friends or very close but there will always be a place in my heart for her, and i hope i am right in thinking, that she will never be forgotten and that she will live on in the people that cared about her most. i will never forget her or her family, especially her sister-the way she looked at McKayla's wake-no kid should ever have to look like that, to feel like that. No parents should have to bury their children, no sister should have to live her life knowing that it could have been her. McKayla's dad said something at the funeral that will stick with me forever, "if u said something bad to someone and u died the next day, u wont be able to say ur sorry" RIP McKayla. ill be down here smiling up at u.

Hey Everyone, For the Geisingers, i would wanna try to create a scrapbook about McKayla including anything you'd want to donate that reminds you of her or that you did with her. Pictures, too! I'd also like everyone to share memories, handwritten, to give to me @ school. I think it'd be really cool to do this, and i thank everyone who would want to contribute.
